Mr. Beitler and Mrs. Styles from Grapeland Elementary are getting a high five today from the Smith family. They appreciate how warm and welcoming both of them are by always greeting the students with smiles and, for many, on a first-name basis. They love the dedication and respect they have for each individual student. Grapeland is lucky to have them!

Cucamonga Valley Water District held their annual poster contest, and a shout-out goes to Shantelle from Grapeland Elementary for being the big sweepstakes winner and taking home an Apple iPad. This year's theme was "Water is Life," and Shantelle's poster beautifully depicted that. Way to go!

We are so proud of Jup Singh, an eighth-grade student from Heritage Intermediate, who will represent Etiwanda School District and San Bernardino County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May. Congratulations Jup!
